The well-known rock-star is now Dr. Jon Bon Jovi. He received the distinction at the University of Pennsylvania’s 263rd Commencement.
Born John Francis Bongiovi Jr., he rose to fame as the frontman of band Bon Jovi. He has also been very involved in humanitarian efforts through many charities, including The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.
Fans in Romania will be able to see Bon Jovi live in Bucharest on July 21st.
